QuickBooks Desktop Error Messages

You currently have more than 5000 orders or inventory items queued

Connex pulls your changes into our database, known as a queue, and processes the changes. Then, the queue is cleared.

How to view the queue

To view the queue, follow these steps:

  1. Log into Connex.
  2. Click manage.
  3. Expand inventory.
  4. Expand pending inventory.
  5. Click the clear button.

How to process the queue

You can clear the queue by running the web connector. The queue is processed each time you run the web connector. It can take 15 - 30 minutes to process. Here are the steps:

  1. Log into QuickBooks.
  2. Go to file and click update web services.
  3. Run the web connector.
  4. Wait 30 minutes.

Common Troubleshooting

  1. Log into Connex.
  2. Click manage.
  3. Expand orders.
  4. Expand sync orders from QuickBooks.
  5. In the class drop down, select a value. If you selected sync regardless of class, then all of your sales from QuickBooks would sync back to our queue. This could cause it to clog very quickly.
