This means you are syncing too many sales from QuickBooks.

Solutions

Change customer match

This error happens when you have a parent customer with hundreds of sub customers. Connex tries to pull several hundred customers. The solution is to place sales under Amazon instead of Amazon: Joe Example.

  1. Log into Connex.
  2. Click settings.
  3. Click customers.
  4. Choose selling channel name as the match.
  5. Clear the parent customer drop down.

Sync in one direction

This could be an issue with the two way sync.

  1. Log into Connex.
  2. Click settings.
  3. Click orders from QuickBooks.
  4. Uncheck sync orders from QuickBooks.
  5. Run the web connector.

Sync sales by date created from QuickBooks

Connex pulls sales by the date modified in QuickBooks. If you perform a file rebuild or back up, a large number of sales could get pulled from QuickBooks. The solution is to pull sales by their order date, then sync by their date modified. Here are the steps:

  1. Login to Connex.
  2. Click settings.
  3. Click orders from QuickBooks.
  4. From the timers, choose a 24 or 48 hour date range.
  5. Check the sync by date created field:
  6. Click save.
  7. Run the web connector.
  8. Verify no errors.
  9. Update some sales in QuickBooks.
  10. Run the web connector again and verify no errors.

TIP

The sync transactions by date created field will uncheck itself, after a successful sync. You will sync sales by the date modified.

The QuickBooks date field always says 12:00 AM. The date modified field shows the minutes and seconds when an order was updated, like 10/13/2022 9:17 AM. If we pulled sales by date created, a sale created on 10/13 would fail to pull on 10/14. For example, create the sale and then add a class called ShipStation on the next day. Under date modified, our tool would sync the sale.

If you always synced by date created, the same sales would pull all day on 10/13.
