Sync Orders from QuickBooks Desktop

How do I preview orders syncing from QuickBooks?

Connex downloads QuickBooks sales into our database. A scheduled task runs to process the orders and clear the queue. This guide shows you how to leave orders in the queue, so you can test rules.

How do I leave orders in the queue?

In this example, I will create an Invoice (#1000111) with test products:

  1. Login to Connex.
  2. Next to your connection, click manual sync. If you wish to view an individual QuickBooks order, enter it in the comma separated list, or just choose the date range in which it was modified.
  3. Click Sync Now.
  4. Scroll down to Task Manager, located at the bottom of the Connex Dashboard.
  5. Delete the "Orders from QuickBooks" task:
  6. Run the Web Connector.
  7. Click orders on the left and click Order Previewer.
  8. On the previewer page, choose your connection.
  9. Choose sync orders from QuickBooks:
  10. Click submit.

IMPORTANT! After performing this action, you need to restart your sync!

To complete that, follow these steps:

  1. Login to Connex.
  2. Click Manage on the connection you wish to re-start.
  3. Click Save Settings on the top right.
  4. Go back to the Dashboard, and you should see that task re-created in the Task Manager
