What is the function of the rule comparisons?

Introduction

Before running a rule, you can compare a field. You could say if the SKU starts with A, then map the SKU to ABC. This comparison is called matches. In this guide, we will describe all the comparisons you can make.

What are the comparisons?

Here is a list: 

Comparison Use Case
Equals Does the SKU equal ABC?
More Than or Equal To Is the order total more than or equal to $100?
Less Than or Equal To Is the order total less than or equal to $100?
Is Empty Did the user enter a product SKU?
Contains Does part of the SKU contain ABC?
Does Not Contain If the SKU does not contain ABC, then run the rule. If the SKU has no value, return false.
Map All Map all order numbers to the PO number field.
Map Custom Field Value Map the value of the custom field to the QuickBooks PO field.
Starts With Does the SKU ABC start with AB?
Ends With Does the SKU ABC end with BC?
Is Not Empty Does the product have a SKU?
More Than Compare two numbers or a date. Is the order total greater than $100?
Less Than Compare two numbers or a date. Is the order total less than $100?
Is Not If the SKU is not ABC. Case insensitive.
