For an inventory product, the income account must have Account Type: Income and Detail Type: Sales of Product Income

What does this mean?

When Connex makes new items, Connex must add accounts to the product. The income account is incorrect.

How do I resolve this error?

To resolve this error, here are the steps:

  1. Log into QuickBooks.
  2. Go to the gear box.
  3. Click chart of accounts.
  4. Create an account whose type is income and whose sub type is sales of product income. You may edit an existing account and just change the details type: acct.png
  5. Save your changes.
  6. Log into Connex.
  7. Click manage.
  8. Expand new order and product accounts.
  9. Adjust the income account.
  10. Click save.
  11. Resync your orders.
