My web connector times out or hangs up


The QuickBooks Web Connector must receive the sales from your selling channel within two minutes or the sync will fail. You can change the sync dates or queue the orders in the background.

How do I shorten the sync dates?

Most likely, the date range of orders is too long. You can either queue up the sales or you can shorten your sync dates to a twenty four hour period

  1. Login to Connex.
  2. Expand manually sync an existing connection.
  3. Choose your connection.
  4. Change the dates to a 24 hour period.

How do I queue the orders?

Queuing orders is ideal, if you are syncing historically during your initial set-up. On the Connex advanced configuration section, check insert orders in bulk. You can check the pending queue by clicking settings on top, reports, and pending transactions. Once you see orders, download them. Turn off insert orders in bulk, since the sync runs hourly only.
