Can I start campaigns, based on OntraPort contacts from QuickBooks?
A walkthrough of syncing a contact from QuickBooks to OntraPort with a tag.
In this example, we will create a new order in QuickBooks. Our tool creates the contact, if missing. We will create a campaign, based on the contact. This guide assumes you already set-up the sync of sales from QuickBooks to OntraPort.
Connex can map tags from QuickBooks to OntraPort. In this example, we will add QuickBooks as the tag. For more complex examples, contact us.
- Login to Connex.
- Click rules > my rules.
- Click import.
- Upload this spreadsheet.
Create order in QuickBooks
In this example, we will use QuickBooks Desktop:
- In QuickBooks, go to customer and click customer center.
- Create a new customer:
- Create a new invoice for the customer:
- Click save.
- Run the QuickBooks Web Connector.
