Rules Engine Overview

Can I run certain rules on certain connections?

You can run a rule mapping a SKU for your Amazon orders and a rule mapping a payment method for your Shopify transactions. In this example, we will show you how to map rules to a selling channel.

Note: By default, Connex runs all rules on all connections.

If I add rules to connections, do I need to add all the rules?

If you wish to add a rule explicitly to one connection:

  1. Head to the lefthand navigation, and click "Rules Engine"
  2. Select "Connections"
  3. The grid should be blank if you have never used it. If so, click "Add all rules"
  4. This will associate all rules with all connections.
  5. From there, select the rules you wish to remove from connections
  6. Then, click "Delete Selected", and those will be removed from running on those connections.
